Dick Cheney doesn’t mince words, as evidenced by his appearance on tonight’s “Special Report with Bret Baier”:

More from the former VP:
VP Cheney:we did exactly what needed to be done to catch those who were quilty on 9/11 and prevent a further attack #specialreport
— Bret Baier (@BretBaier) December 10, 2014
VP Cheney: I guess the questio is what are you prepared to do to prevent future attacks against the United States? #specialreport
— Bret Baier (@BretBaier) December 10, 2014
VP Cheney: I was strongly supportive of the program…My job as VP was to push to get programs like this in place. #specialreport
— Bret Baier (@BretBaier) December 10, 2014
VP Cheney: 3,000 Americans died on 9/11 because of what these guys did and I have no sympathy for them. #specialreport
— Bret Baier (@BretBaier) December 10, 2014
"I have no sympathy for them," says Cheney of those subjected to CIA EITs. "How nice do you have to be to the murderers of 3000 Americans?"
— Mark Knoller (@markknoller) December 10, 2014
VP:We had reporting Al-qaeda was trying to get hands on nuclear weapons–there was every reason to expect there would be another attack
— Bret Baier (@BretBaier) December 10, 2014
Asked if the ends justified the means of using EITs? "Absolutely," said Cheney. "No doubt in my mind. I’m totally comfortable with it."
— Mark Knoller (@markknoller) December 10, 2014
"I’d do it again in a minute," says Cheney of the harsh interrogation techniques to which terror suspects were subjected.
