Throughout today’s House Oversight Committee hearing, Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber has been blaming his past shameful remarks on “glibness.”
Yeah. Right.
When it came time for Wyoming GOP Rep. Cynthia Lummis to confront Gruber on his lies, she didn’t hold back:
Cynthia Lummis asking the CBO questions I want to hear answered.
— Matt Welch (@MattWelch) December 9, 2014
Lummis grilling Gruber on "how did you guys get the CBO to think this wasn't a tax even when you knew it might be looked at by the SCOTUS"?
— VK (@vjeannek) December 9, 2014
Lummis to Gruber: You *are* a politician…everything that you have said in the past is inconsistent with your testimony today.
— Marshall Power Locke (@MarshallLocke) December 9, 2014
Lummis just called Gruber a politician.
God bless her.— Michelle Ray (@GaltsGirl) December 9, 2014
Rep. Lummis nailing #Gruber on his dishonest gaming of the CBO scoring. #GruberHearing "Were ALL of you prior statements a lie?"

"Everything that has led up to your testimony today, is inconsistent with your testimony today." Rep. Lummis.
A-freaking-men. #Gruber— Jackie Wellfonder (@Wellfonder) December 9, 2014
Since Gruber doesn’t seem to be able to comprehend all the damage he’s caused, Rep. Lummis took the opportunity to illuminate him with a her own Obamacare story.
Lummis explained that both she and her husband were insured through Obamacare:

And for her, the inherently rotten ACA has had a very personal cost:
Rep. Lummis explaining how Obamacare's failures led to her husband not being tested for heart disease (he died of a heart attack).
— Lyndsey Fifield (@lyndseyfifield) December 9, 2014
Lummis's husband declined tests based on being told that he was not covered under #Obamacare.

Lummis: husband died by massive heart attack who refused a test due to confusion over coverage of #Obamacare. #HouseOversight

Just devastating. And Rep. Lummis has a message for the worms out there like Gruber and Marilyn Tavenner who are trying to weasel their way out of the havoc they’ve wreaked:
