This afternoon, President Obama took to the podium to address the situation in Iraq. He was over an hour late, but that’s probably because he just lost track of time thinking of really intelligent things to say. Things like this:
Pres Obama says "above all," Iraqis must rise above their differences as shi'a, sunni and kurds.

Pres says: Iraqi leaders must rise above their differences and come together – need to build consensus.

"Above all, Iraqi leaders must rise above their differences and come together around a political plan for Iraq’s future." —President Obama

Spoken like a true Nobel Peace Prize winner.
Good luck with that. RT @AndrewStilesUSA: “Iraqi leaders must rise above their differences.”

Yes right that's going to happen Mr. BO! MT @katz: Obama: Above all, Iraqi leaders must rise above their differences…for Iraq's future.

So, like, make Iran the babysitter. What could go wrong?

@BenHowe @RosieGray really sounds like a parent scolding an unruly child. Kid's still not gonna listen.

"Iran can play a constructive role" if it weren't Iran.

Obama: Iran can play a constructive role in Iraq. Iran: Just wait until we've constructed some nukes.
