That’s pretty much how it’s supposed to work. Nice of the EPA to finally admit it.
Earlier this month, EPA administrator Gina McCarthy was pleased as punch to announce a set of new regulations on power plants, in the name of “environmental justice.” Last week, she gave Bill Maher a little more information about what “environmental justice” entails:
Bill Maher: "I hope it is a War on Coal. Is it?"
EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy: "That's exactly what this is."http://t.co/2YayCxzpa0— Phil Kerpen (@kerpen) June 16, 2014

Transcript:
Maher: I think it was called the Clean Power Program. Some people called it a War on Coal. I hope it is a War on Coal. Is it?
McCarthy: Actually, EPA is all about fighting against pollution and fighting for public health. That’s exactly what this is.
Alrighty then.
@lachlan @stephenkruiser So, @Whitehouse & @EPA they are conducting a war on coal which will force energy prices to "necessarily skyrocket!"
