Later, Shinseki.

Let President Obama be clear, though: Eric Shinseki is a great guy who has done great things for the VA.

Obama, "with regret," accepts Shinseki's resignation. Then goes on to talk about how great Shinseki is….

Barf.

Sorry, Mr. President. This is too little, too late.

So according to PotUS, Shinseki not fired.

If Obama were truly serious about taking action, he would’ve given Shinseki his pink slip a long time ago.

Despite obvious incompetence for weeks, it took Democrats denouncing Shinseki for Obama to act. Because he's not a leader.

— RBe (@RBPundit) May 30, 2014

Obama was hoping to use Shinseki as yet another wedge issue to use against Republicans. It's his only act. He's a fucking fraud.

— RBe (@RBPundit) May 30, 2014

Obama could have been something more than a crass political operative ONCE in his entire life and fired Shinseki weeks ago.

— RBe (@RBPundit) May 30, 2014

But he was going to play petty tyrant because only Republicans were calling for Shinseki to go. It's who he is. He's not a leader.

— RBe (@RBPundit) May 30, 2014

He’s a joke.

Shinseki is gone. Good riddance. Now, the work of cleaning up the reckless VA culture of corruption really begins.

We’ve got a long way to go.
