Yesterday, Pat Sajak poked the “hornets’ nest” when he tweeted that “global warming alarmists are unpatriotic racists knowingly misleading for their own ends.” Former MSNBC-er and current Al Jazeera America anchor David Shuster took the bait and came buzzing:
The issue @patsajak is that your bizarre rant diminished the significance of actual racism. For that, you should apologize.

So far, Sajak has yet to apologize for his, um, “rant.” Shuster should probably find something else get upset about while he waits.
Editor’s note: The title of this post originally quoted Shuster as saying, “For that, you must apologize.” Shuster told Sajak he “should” apologize.
