It’s been a minute since we last checked in on Elon Musk. We’ve been waiting to see how the whole Twitter-buyout-trial would play out.
But Elon’s sharing some thoughts about Putin’s war against Ukraine today, and we feel like we should cover them. So, without further ado, here they are:
Ukraine-Russia Peace:
– Redo elections of annexed regions under UN supervision. Russia leaves if that is will of the people.
– Crimea formally part of Russia, as it has been since 1783 (until Khrushchev’s mistake).
– Water supply to Crimea assured.
– Ukraine remains neutral.

Anyway, his poll won’t end until tomorrow. But based on some of the responses Musk is getting so far, he may have found a way to alienate even more people, including those who have defended him on other issues.

As for Crimea… Ukraine has more claim there than Russia had on Donetsk.

To be fair, Musk didn’t explicitly say his scenario is the one he prefers. But a good number of people seem to be interpreting it as if he did.
