West Virginia GOP Senate hopeful Don Blankenship totally sank in last night’s primary, proving that decency isn’t completely dead in this country.
Naturally today, Blankenship’s lashing out at — who else? — “Cocaine Mitch” McConnell. Guess he didn’t care much for this glorious tweet from McConnell’s official Senate re-election account:

Here’s what Blankenship had to say today:
Don Blankenship's goodbye stmnt: "Mitch McConnell’s cocaine tweet is just more proof that he is not an America person. Thousands die from cocaine use year after year, and he thinks it’s funny that his family’s shipping business hauls cocaine on the high seas. … It is sickening"

Quite a bit to unpack there.

What a shame that Blankenship will never realize his full potential as an esteemed member of the United States Senate.
Blankenship is probably doing some lines right now.

Thank goodness for that.
And that 15 minutes of fame is just about over.

That was the closure I needed.
