Way back in 2020, when it became clear Biden was going to be the Democrat's GUY, they started in with the whole, melodramatic 'Poor Joe, he's overcome so much, including a stutter. Wow, it's amazing he can speak at all considering his stutter was soooo bad, blah blah blah'. A stutter? What now? Many of us have been watching this old loon speak for decades (heck, he's been in politics longer than most of us have been alive), so when they started claiming he stutters ... I felt like I was missing something. And then I immediately called BS.
Lots and lots of BS.
As someone who has struggled with a stutter all of my life, I know the difference between an actual stutter and someone who is in mental decline. Someone who can't stop saying really stupid stuff because they have made a career out of saying really stupid stuff, like Joe. A stutter doesn't make me forget things, it doesn't make me mad, it doesn't make me lash out at people when they ask me inconvenient questions and you guys, I've never actually confused the presidents of two countries or talked to dead people because of my stutter. Oh, and if I had ever been the vice president I assure you, my stutter would not make me forget it.
It's a disgusting, obnoxious lie made up by disgusting, obnoxious liars who think Americans are too dumb to know the difference (sadly, many Democrats ARE). Oh, and the fact Jill Biden ALLOWS this to continue? Makes her one of the most evil, vile women in America's history.
I remember way back in 3rd grade being unable to get words like, 'What,' and 'Why' out because my mouth could not and would not physically form the sounds. This wasn't a stammer, this wasn't me getting confused, this was me having a very real stutter. And the more I couldn't get the words out, the harder it became to speak. Years and year of speech therapy in school, and later speech and debate and theatre, helped tremendously but even now ... decades later ... I still struggle sometimes. Especially if I'm upset, angry, or even really happy.
The fact these very powerful people think it's ok to brush off Biden's obvious mental issues as a 'stutter' is not only insulting to Americans who know better, but to those of us who really do have a stutter. We are not all brain-dead, creepy old men shambling around and shaking the hands of people who aren't really there. Shame on the people who are pushing this talking point and shame on those around Biden who are allowing it.
