CNN asks why SO many of us are unhappy with the country and THIS is why we can't have nice things

Seriously CNN? Are you kidding me right now?! If any outlet asked readers why Americans are so unhappy with the country I’d point and laugh, but that this came from CNN? REALLY?! I get it, their entire focus is on defending Biden and making him look like less of a train wreck but the reality is so much of what is wrong with this country is due to President Sippy Cup. And of course, the Democrats.

And because I’m a giver I read this article so you don’t have to …

It’s even worse than you’d expect.

Awww, they did a little poll and that the numbers are this bad for them tells me they’re so much worse. Especially about our economy.

From CNN:

Views of the nation and the economy often go hand in hand. Asked to explain their view of how things are going in the US today, both 35% of those who said things were going well and 52% who said things were going badly mentioned economic factors.

Americans’ views of the economy have improved but the overwhelming majority still say it’s in poor shape.

Look at them trying to find a silver lining here. Cute, right? Keep reading.

Slightly over half of women, men, Whites, people of color, those younger than 45 and those 45 and older who said things were going badly all mentioned the economy when asked to explain why they felt that way.

But there were differences both along and within partisan lines among this pessimistic group.

A 58% majority of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents cited the economy as a reason for their discontent, with a smaller 42% of Democrats and Democratic leaners saying the same.

Again, trying to pretend that 42% of Democrats saying things suck in our economy is a good thing. ‘Smaller.’

They also mentioned how partisan things are.

Gosh, ya’ think? When we have a president who calls half the country a threat to democracy that sort of thing is bound to happen.’

Ain’t it though?

And our wages aren’t keeping up with inflation.

Fun fun fun.
