Well, this is something you don’t see every day and that’s anyone accusing the media of doing Trump’s bidding. Sure, we’ve pointed out several times that they all but elected him with their non-stop coverage but to actually say they do his bidding as Bill Maher did here?
That’s a stretch in our humble opion.
Before election, I told Trump voters, as soon as its over, the caravan will disappear from the news…see? And to the media (especially cable news) who say the caravan "has disappeared from the news" – you put it there! You are always doing Trump's bidding for him. #Enablers
— Bill Maher (@billmaher) November 15, 2018
Alrighty then.
I said this too. Utterly shameful. Now US troops are ‘training’ on the border, the midterms are over so no one cares about the caravan, and cable news has gone on to the next story. The @nytimes had the caravan as front page news multiple times, too. https://t.co/86LflQX1yI

Weird seeing Bill and Soledad put the media in their place, especially The New York Times.
The piece they’re missing though is that this is not about doing Trump’s bidding but about using Trump as a means for clicks and taps. Long ago the media stopped reporting stories and started pushing narratives because that’s way more entertaining and gets way more sets of eyes.
The press on Trump, any questions!?! pic.twitter.com/2TKSungBK1

It’s true.
Many of us with a brain knew this. Sad that the majority of the media reported as if it were true rather than call it the ridiculous political stunt that it was.

Ya’ don’t say.
Media pulling stunts? Get outta here.
The media has followed Trump’s shiny pennies since 2016. They have no idea how to cover this man. History will not be kind to it either.

It's almost as if the @nytimes is an asset, willing or unwilling, of the GOP.
— Jon Boley (@BoleyGo) November 16, 2018
Holy sh*t, now we’ve read everything.
The relationship bet the White House and cable news is symbiotic they need each other they feed off each other. And it will not get better

They’re not wrong.
What happened to the grownups at the New York Times? Can they please go find some?

Tough crowd.
