BAHAHA! Journos give CNN's Chris Cillizza a 'virtual wedgie' over his crap Hope Hicks headline

*sigh*

We write a lot of silly headlines. It’s what we do. In fact, if we write too serious of a headline people start wondering if something is the matter, which sort of makes us experts when it comes to silly headlines. Hey, there are worse things to be experts on.

And man, Chris Cillizza’s headline about Hope Hicks leaving the White House is a seriously silly bordering on stupid headline:

Then again, it is CNN we’re talking about, and while Chris isn’t the most biased journo they have (we see you Brian Stelter), he’s up there. So is this headline all that surprising? Not really.

Literal phone conversation I had yesterday: "what do you think about X?"
Me: "hang on, Cilizza's email just came in, let me scan it so I can tell you the opposite."
