As news broke this morning of an Amtrak train derailing in Washington, people across social media stopped what they were doing and for just a moment said a small prayer for everyone wounded and or killed in this horrible accident.
Sadly it seems other people could hardly WAIT to use this tragedy to push a political agenda though, like Joy Reid.
That Amtrak derailment is yet another reminder that America needs substantial infrastructure investment. Our priorities are all wrong. Tax cuts for the super rich and corporations are NOT more important than lifesaving investments in technology, transportation etc.

The first launch of a new route. Amtrak registered it going 80+ mph coming around a curve. Sounds like human or electronic error, not the infrastructure itself. It's a fluid situation & the story may change, but MUCH TOO SOON to slam this accident as a cause of #taxreform.
