'I fully apologize for it.' Ben Shapiro removes #ColumbusDay video, releases statement

On Monday, October 9, a satirical video was released from The Daily Wire on its Facebook page and Twitter feed. While many people understood the video was satire (albeit not the best satire), others felt it was insensitive to Native Americans and some even called it racist.

Ben Shapiro himself was on vacation at the time of the video’s posting, and had no input or sign off on said video, but he released the following statement moments ago:

Class act, all the way.

Dealing in satire can be really tough (Twitchy editors KNOW), and it takes a lot of cojones to come out and admit something didn’t work and publicly apologize for it, like Ben has.

Indeed.
