When all you see in the news is death, destruction, fighting, hatred and the narrative around institutional racism when it comes to the brave men and women who serve and protect our communities, it’s nice to see something positive. Something awesome.
Something awesome involving coffee is extra super awesome too.

All across the country, people are having coffee with a cop and connecting in their communities via the positive narrative that the police make our lives better. That they protect us and put themselves on the line for strangers EVERY DAY, and it’s time we show them we appreciate them. Plus it gives members of the community an opportunity to have a real discussion with the police instead of the crazy drama the media feeds on.
Today is National #CoffeeWithACop Day. Take advantage of this day & have a dialogue w/ ur local law enforcement about ur needs & concerns

What better way to connect than over a cup of coffee (or hot chocolate)?
