The irony of this picture is breathtaking …
This is what courage looks like. #respect #VeteransForKaepernick pic.twitter.com/7jXZEIiRT9

Almost as breathtaking as this doorknob missing who actually has courage in this picture.
Luckily Ben Howe and others ‘enlightened’ him:
I assume you're referring to the Marine in the foreground? https://t.co/2Tr7REBmNI

BAM. And sadly being that it’s Dave Zirin you assume incorrectly.
How about both? That isn't so hard to comprehend.

Some people have a really warped idea of what courage looks like these days. The marine served his country, made sacrifices for his country … the mopey chick with the bad do in the back throws a football around for millions of dollars every year. See the difference?
I understand why Colin is trying to draw attention to these issues. But he at times makes it difficult by being a dick.

All Kap has really done is draw attention to himself, which was likely his goal all along.
@DLoesch @EdgeofSports courage is taking your own money, time and moving into the community u care so much about

Are you CRAZY?! Kap won’t do that, he’ll get robbed … heh.
nicely said. Courage is running towards the fire when everything in you tells you to run away. Semper Fidelis good example

Courage is not sitting on a bench acting like a spoiled brat because you got bored and decided you needed to pick a cause to support.
Yes, that Marine in the foreground is courage personified. https://t.co/Xo26nCL5X0

What he said.
@EdgeofSports hating America = "courage" now. we are so doomed.

And sadly, this as well.
