What is it with the NYT lately? Granted, they’ve never hidden their obvious progressive/Leftist bias but lately they’re going for broke. Stories on how Communism helped Chinese girls dream big and now this nugget on socialism?
Iowahawk nailed it with superb mockery:
Socialism is like a nude beach: sounds pretty good until you actually see it pic.twitter.com/YigBOkG8Lb

PERFECT.
People always think nude beaches are gonna be super HAWT until they show up and realize that nudists come in all shapes, sizes, sexes and ages. And socialism is a lot like that, promises of free stuff from the government, making evil rich people pay … and then you realize how ugly Socialism is when it’s naked.
Or something like that.
The fantasy: beautiful, shapely young women.
The reality: hairy, fat guys.— Skin that smokewagon (@heatpacker) September 26, 2017
Dat’s right.
this article was wild. it was like "if you redefine socialism as capitalism with safety net, socialism is great"
— Dan Wiznitzer (@Wiznutz) September 26, 2017
So basically if you pretend Socialism is Capitalism it’s a good thing and stuff.
Such intellectuals at the New York Times.
If they want socialism, they need to emigrate to #Berniezuela so they can Live The Dream.

When will @nytopinion write the one about how capitalism is such a great system that's lifted millions out of poverty and starva…uhm…err
— Greg Cougar (@NonLiberalPAer) September 26, 2017
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.
THAT’S a good one.
Despite the decades of evidence, it baffles me why so many think socialism is still a good idea.

Nothing baffles us anymore.
We are forever cynical.
Hmmm..the @nytimes Likes Socialism..Surprise,Surprise..?
