After taking some hard losses to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Los Angeles Lakers finally got back on their feet when they arrived in LA for Game 3 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals. It was a tight one, and it could have gone either way, but with only one team being able to walk out with the win, the Lakers stepped it up and took their first win in this best-of-seven series.
Lakers fans piled on the praise on Twitter, expressing new-found hope in a series that was possibly one game from being too far gone:

Plenty of celebrities also commended the squad on a job well done:

But it just wouldn’t be a Lakers victory without a bit of controversy. The Lakers were fantastic from the foul line tonight, making 41 out of 42 attempts, but there were those who questioned the quantity of foul shots, focusing on referee Joey Crawford.

Game 4 is right around the corner and the Lakers will be looking to tie up the series and get back on the championship path. The Oklahoma City Thunder have other plans, of course, but will have to try and take this one from LA’s home court.
The series continues …
