Feel the excitement: Jeb! channels Lamar Alexander's exclamation point from 1996

@DanielLarison @jbview If you have to add an exclamation point no one's excited.

Jeb! going with the exclamation point for his campaign means we're just one election away from a candidate with an emoji in their slogan.

It looks like Jeb Bush’s campaign slogan designers were recycled from the 1996 Lamar! Alexander presidential campaign bid. And we all know how that turned out.

I'm glad the exclamation point from Lamar Alexander's 1996 bid finally found a new job. pic.twitter.com/aR0Wqwa28L

Jeb Bush just unveiled his campaign's logo. "Bush" is absent — and it reminds me of Lamar! '96 pic.twitter.com/A4usTCC8cB

Nothing rescues a floundering campaign more than a big-ass exclamation point. Just ask Lamar(!) Alexander. #Jeb2016

Jeb!

Another tragic misuse of the exclamation point. People are not shouting his name. Enough! Stop abusing the exclamation point!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't excited about Jeb Bush until I saw the exclamation point. And whoa, I had never thought of it that way before. #Jeb!

FYI, jokes aside, Jeb!’s been exclaiming his own name for years.

Literally nothing about Jeb Bush warrants an exclamation point, which is the best part.
