New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick held a press conference this morning to express his “shock” at the #Deflategate allegations against his team.

Meanwhile, America snickered at the unfortunate placement of a #flexball ad behind him.

Even the Gillette logo is talking about balls. pic.twitter.com/BmOX66zl27

Did anybody else notice the @Gillette backdrop at #BillBelichick's press conference promoting their FLEXBALL razor? Wow! #inflategate

This press conference is all about a ball, ironic that the Gillette #flexball is all in the background.

Very unfortunate that Gillette's product is called the FLEXBALL (H/T @SouthernbeLLSU) pic.twitter.com/NL0YrUQw6J

How weird, ironic, and comical that Gillette #Flexball is behind Belichick in his press conference. #DefflateGate

This is really an inconvenient name for the new @Gillette razor. #Patriots pic.twitter.com/zgU9zLgtVV

Gillette for the win!

Gillette #flexball mentions avg single digits per day… but 505 at 9a this morning. 1.5M impressions. #sportsbiz pic.twitter.com/ZryD1Ul3yb
