Twitchy told you about power losses at NYU Langone and Bellevue hospitals in New York City late Monday night and early Tuesday morning resulting from Hurricane Sandy. Patients at Langone were evacuated to several other area medical facilities.
This afternoon, Bellevue evacuated an estimated 500 patients after hurricane damage hampered operations and backup generators failed.
Best wishes and prayers to FDNY, hospital staff, and patients as the move gets underway.
