#ObamaComicBookVillains: Team Obama ties 'Dark Knight Rises' villain Bane to Romney

As Twitchy reported last night, recent early reviews of the latest Batman film, ‘Dark Knight Rises,’ have liberal knickers in a twist. Oh, noes! Is Batman one of those icky conservatives? Quick, to the Batcave for deflection! Enter the latest narrative: The villain Bane is totally really the all-encompassing evil Bain Capital. Because, of course. That’s how cuckoo pants works.

More from The Examiner:

“Bane” is the terrorist in the new movie who drives the caped crusader out of semi-retirement in the final Batman movie. Democrats, who believe they have Romney on the ropes over the president’s assault on his leadership at Bain Capital, said the comparisons are too rich to ignore.

“It has been observed that movies can reflect the national mood,” said Democratic advisor and former Clinton aide Christopher Lehane. “Whether it is spelled Bain and being put out by the Obama campaign or Bane and being out by Hollywood, the narratives are similar: a highly intelligent villain with offshore interests and a past both are seeking to cover up who had a powerful father and is set on pillaging society,” he added.

But, wait. There is a spoke in the Bain-y Batmobile’s wheel.

Whoops! We are just surprised that they didn’t also try to paint “Dark Knight Rises” as racist. If “kitchen cabinet” is racist, how did “Dark Knight” escape getting the race card pinned on it? Nevertheless, Twitter users are calling Team Obama and the Left on their absurd Bane/Bain reaching and pointing out some actual Obama villains as well.

Indeed. Obama claims that small business owners didn’t build anything themselves; Big Daddy Government did it all. See, individuals and their successes are the bane of the Left. Hey! Maybe that is the real villainous Bane! Or, you know, maybe it’s just a movie. Contrary to President Obama’s beliefs, not everything in the entire world is all about him and his re-election.

In the meantime, keep them coming Twitter! Obama fails meet “Dark Knight Rises’: Comedy gold. A Twitter Oscar is in store (TwOscar) for you!
