Hasan Piker decided to let his audience in on a little secret.
See, some of Piker's hardcore supporters aren't happy with his buddy El-Sayed right now. He's saying the 'conventional' things. He put out a message about terrorists killing people on 9/11 and that upset the hard-core Lefties.
They believe America deserved 9/11, just like Piker and El-Sayed (discreetly) believe.

Basically, Piker's giving up the gig. El-Sayed is just saying what he has to say to get elected. He doesn't mean what he's saying.

Piker knows El-Sayed doesn't believe what he says. Piker's realizes his audience is getting frustrated with El-Sayed toeing the line. He's trying to convince them El-Sayed is a true believer like them and not to give up hope on him.
