Listen, we at Twitchy 'Back the Blue', but come on.
The cop says this baby donkey “charged” him, so he had to shoot it.

Pathetic. https://t.co/87ZiUZDOIa
This police officer was so scared of a mini donkey he had to shoot it? A mini donkey used at petting zoos with little kids? The mini donkey named 'Hee Haw'?
The Georgia cop who killed baby donkey HeeHaw claimed he shot the donkey because the beloved animal was charging at him – as his heartbroken owner has shared a tragic clip from his final days.
Trenton Garner fired one shot at the 1-year-old donkey after going into his pasture at the Elsberry Riding and Farm ranch in Rockmart, Ga, at around 12:45 a.m. Sunday, during a search for a missing 12-year-old girl, according to an incident report seen by The Post.
The Cedartown Police Department officer, a K-9 handler, and a bloodhound team made their way into the petting zoo after following a trail of footprints – before coming across some horses.
Was the donkey charging or was the donkey coming over for a pet?
“Cops entered my pasture searching for a missing person WITHOUT permission or warning and shot and killed my bottle raised BABY donkey,” she wrote online Sunday, vowing to take legal action.
“HeeHaw was raised in the house and did petting zoos he never knew a stranger. And was shot and killed in his OWN pasture for doing what donkeys do. Alerting to a stranger.

This was an animal who clearly had no fear of humans. This is just sick.
Fly high with Harambe and Peanut, Hee-Haw.

We have the watch now. https://t.co/9qgRa4pMrY
Police have a very difficult job. There is no disputing that. They also have to use sound judgment and this was not that.
Yeah, we should totally give law enforcement flock cameras.... They need every tool in their arsenal to shoot at a 1-year-old donkey after going on somebody else's property. https://t.co/FgCfyyYlkg

The more I read about this the sadder I feel. There was just absolutely no need. https://t.co/cUtIgn10XM

It was just so unnecessary.
Imagine becoming internet famous for this...

Like honestly bro, let the donkey take a bite out of you before being the cop that shot a baby donkey. https://t.co/eXJDKi9Xpx

The officer should forfeit his job, pension, lose qualified immunity and spend a decade in prison.

If this was his first response to a harmless animal, how can he handle a violent criminal without using lethal force?

I need to hear what he is saying to justify this. It was a 3 foot tall domesticated donkey... If he was afraid of animals, he shouldn't have entered the pasture or at least had someone (an owner) else go with him.

If he's scared of a 3-foot-tall hand raised donkey, he should maybe not be a police officer.
