Not sure why El-Sayed thinks explaining his 'Medicare for All' system makes it sound better.
What he's saying is the government controls your healthcare, the government controls how much Doctors can charge, the government sets prices and runs everything, and they decide who gets what care. In his brain, that sounds appealing.
Has he ever seen how government works? No thanks.

Michigan Democrat Abdul El-Sayed says he wants to completely eliminate private health insurance plans and create “one insurance program for everyone.” pic.twitter.com/BO71lYIEGQ
After going through COVID, and watching the government demand people take shots or lose their jobs, how they isolated people in hospitals and threatened Doctors for prescribing Ivermectin, no thanks.
But do you get to keep your doctor?

(And after years of Obamacare, do you even have a doctor?) https://t.co/ysrI8TqCls
The government will pick that for you, also.
This will crush our system. It would be better for states to remove bl9cks for insurance companies to enter every state and grow competition. https://t.co/YnBoEpHNwe

This will lead to a system where the best of the best Doctors are not rewarded and where only the rich get exemplary care. That's Communism for you.
Tell me the last time the Government ran anything that worked like it was supposed to? https://t.co/rEWgnRH7vz

Never. That's when.
I'm convinced the Democrat's platform is always and forever trying old ideas over and over again and continuing to see them fail. https://t.co/GOg0SfhUIs

Look at how well that worked for the American public school system for the last five decades. Kids now graduate who can't read.
the fed continues to allow freaks like these to thrive because of their failures

no one is getting hurt but the middle class https://t.co/KKi7ZOqZAi
The wealthy have plenty of money. The poor are generally willing to turn over their decision making to the government in exchange for free stuff. The middle class want independence, but the government doesn't like that, so they make it impossible to live without the nanny state.
I have a few hundred thousand Veteran friends who might just have a few choice words about government run healthcare.

Talk to the heroes that depend upon the VA. They'll tell you how great medical care doled out by the state is.
Hint: it's not great. It's generally awful, actually.
One size fits all, the Marxist attitude for everything.

It is one reason they always fail.
And they stubbornly refuse to learn from past failures, insisting "We'll get it right this time."
All they care about is power.
And his wife the psychiatrist doesn't even accept Medicaid patients because they don't pay her enough..... hypocrite.

She doesn't want to work with the dregs of society, after all.
The premise behind most socialist ideas is that the government can do things better than competitive industries. It's a philosophy without a single successful example.
