Listen, I fully understand being annoyed with the GOP right now. It feels like they didn't accomplish much with their majority in the House and Senate, and we certainly have our share of RINOs in Congress. It's easy to convince ourselves that it doesn't matter which party is in power because neither side truly cares about hard-working Americans. There’s definitely a case to be made for that view. But then I see a story like this one, and I’m more determined than ever to do my level best to keep as many Republicans in office as possible.
“We’re just waiting for that president to go."

In southern Mexico, I met a woman who initially tried to get to the United States but had her CBP One appointment cancelled when President Trump took office. Now she’s waiting. “After that, we’ll try again." pic.twitter.com/H8Q36HZtDX
Illegal immigrants aren’t even pretending anymore. They’re openly waiting for a Democrat to reopen the borders so they can rush in again. This woman isn’t a legitimate asylum seeker. She’s using the claim because she knows that under a Democratic administration, she’ll get a court date years from now — and most likely just won’t show up. She’s coming here for economic opportunity and a better life. Who could blame her for wanting that? But wanting a better economy is not asylum. That’s not how the system is supposed to work.

Right this is what they are all counting on. https://t.co/7vXy5Rp1gy

I'm sure this is a lovely woman who cooks amazing food and wants better for her kin folk. Guess what? There are a whole bunch of American Grandmothers who want better for their grandchildren, too, and illegal immigration makes it so much harder for that to be a reality. It means overcrowded schools and hospitals, depressed wages, unlicensed drivers with no insurance on the road, and the list goes on and on.
This does not appear to be an asylum seeker. https://t.co/cHX7Ev6eCI

Democrat are going to let in another invasion force the next time they take power.

We can’t share a country like this. We simply can’t. The experiment failed. https://t.co/MzZ0LIxAJQ
Things can't continue like this. A Democrat President lets millions across the border, and then a Republican President spends the next four years cleaning up the mess. Like it or not, and no matter how much you have to hold your nose, a Republican has to run the show. If not, they might as well send the border patrol home because there isn't a thing they can do to stem the tide.
Classic “asylum seeker” here. In such danger and peril that she’s going to wait until Trump leaves office to try to get into the US.

95%+ of the migrants we interviewed at the border from 2021-2024 openly admitted on camera they wanted work/a better life.
That’s not asylum. https://t.co/LC9sXC5i1W
This isn't asylum—it's a deliberate flood of low-skilled labor willing to work for rock-bottom wages. That undercuts American workers, suppressing wages and making decent-paying jobs harder to find. It also overwhelms low-income housing, drives up rents, and clogs emergency rooms, leaving citizens waiting longer for care. Far from helping anyone achieve the American Dream, this policy actively undermines it for the working and middle class who built this country.
