Grave Robbery, NYC Style: Mamdani Proposes 50% 'Death Tax' on Middle-Class Inheritances

Obviously, I can't stand Zohran Mamdani. He is a nepo baby wanna be rapper ingrate New Yorkers felt the need to elect for some unknown reason. He is a communist who hates America and everything about America and it's a disgrace to our Founding Fathers someone like him holds elected office. His latest proposal, though, is probably the most egregious yet. It's changes to the estate tax and inheritance. He wants to lower the threshold of rich to $750k and raise the percentage from 16 to 50 percent.

As a single mother who works two jobs, I realize I won't be able to leave my two children massive trust funds. Heck, I can't even leave them baby trust funds. My son's Dad is wealthy, but won't leave him anything because he's a selfish toad, and my Daughter's Dad lives on his Social Security, so I am the only one who can leave them anything at all. What I can leave them is the property I bought 11 years ago and the home my dad subcontracted for me on it. Because my home is on a lake, the value has risen on my land over the years and will leave my children a sizable chunk if they were to sell it. Side note: Currently their plan is to never sell it and both live on the property, but life throws you curve balls, so who knows.

Under Mamdani's plan, my house and property worth 1 million dollars would make me 'wealthy' (which is a huge laugh because all I have is this property and bills) and my children would lose half their inheritance to taxes. That's outrageous. It's despicable and he should be run out of politics and frankly this country for believing such nonsense.
