From Captivity to Millions: NVIDIA Employee’s Emotional Reunion and Windfall After Years as a Hostage

AP Photo/Leo Correa

Like many Americans, I spent today watching (and crying and crying some more) as the hostages being held in Gaza for the last 2 years were reunited with their families. It was so beautiful, breathtaking, heartbreaking and every other emotion wrapped up in one big ball. A message a boss penned to his employee was also very inspiring.

For those who might be unaware, NVIDIA stock went up a lot over the last two years ... like a lot.

I was also crying.

He left captivity a millionaire. Can you imagine living in hell and walking out with millions of dollars?

They refused to let their employees forget one of their own was suffering.

They absolutely should.

Despicable behavior on the part of Amazon. It's good to see some companies value the lives of their employees.

That was my favorite part.

To be fair, nobody deserves it more.

Don't we all!

Restores a bit of faith in humanity.
