Secretary Rubio is a a very vocal Christian, and as such, was asked his thoughts about a performance currently happening in the Hollywood Bowl.

"For people of faith, none of this should be new ... Christianity has been mocked, attacked from its very inception." pic.twitter.com/E5vJapBZhh
Secretary Rubio’s response was spot-on. As Christians, we are no strangers to mockery, as the Bible foretells we will face suffering like Christ did. In America, our challenges are largely limited to verbal attacks and occasional restrictions on our rights—a stark contrast to the persecution Christ endured or that many Christians face globally today. This relative freedom is a blessing we must not take for granted, as it can vanish quickly if we do.
And it's only us that are mocked. The pattern is there, but Jesus already told us about all this that would happen as long as there love for Christ dwells among us.

It reflects the fact that we're doing something right. That's following God. https://t.co/K3B5Cm9zMZ
As long as we follow Him, we will be hated. That is a communion we share with Him.
They hate us because they ain't us.

Something like that. The beauty of it is, those hating from the outside can be accepted into the inner circle with one simple 'Sinner's Prayer'. The club isn't exclusive. The only price of admission is professing Christ.
Well said Sec Marco Rubio! Yet while we are commanded to forgive, it is great your administration understands that protection of religious rights includes the integrity of ones faith. This kind of behavior needs Christian social response. Same with France/Olympics for this!!! pic.twitter.com/06w2JcPYAi

From the Olympics to Hollywood to Broadway, they all try to find ways to mock Christians.

Touche.
Marco Rubio is 100% correct. Still, that does not mean we should be complacent about it. She has every right to be in that show. We have every right to criticize it and make sure everyone knows it was wrong. https://t.co/JUGXLDCPSL

We have every right to defend Christianity by supporting wholesome programming with our dollars and guiding our youth away from events that mock Jesus Christ
Yes, have her play Muhammad, see how they respond. https://t.co/JRJuBbl75f

They would never.
Marco Rubio has really been able to show himself in a new light to many of us in his role with the Trump administration. Now every time I see him in a video on here I’m watching and listening. He’s so well spoken and I absolutely love his input. Did not see that coming ❤️ https://t.co/2GTbmUoYNY

Secretary Rubio is an eloquent spokesperson for both Christianity and the U.S. government, serving as a commendable representative of the Trump Administration.
