Shedeur Sanders, the son of Deion Sanders, is a really good quarterback and he was expected to go in the first round of the NFL draft this week. He did not until the fifth round and many were shocked. There are a variety of reasons that may be and there is plenty of discussion about those reasons. I want to focus on something that happened to him last night.

Shedeur's family purchased a new phone just for calls with NFL teams. The phone number had only been given to coaches. Somehow, two young men found out the number and pranked the Sanders family. They made them believe they were a NFL team ready to take Shedeur with the next pick. Obviously they weren't. It was just another way to humiliate a young man who was already going through it. It was cruel. Even if you believe Shedeur should work on his character because he presents as brash and arrogant, this is not the way.
