Ayanna Pressley Thinks We Should Roll Out the Red Carpet for Hamas Fans—Hard Pass

Earlier today, DHS arrested another Hamas fan gal from Tufts' University. She is here on a visa and it is being revoked because she aligns with terrorists. That's a good thing. Excellent, actually.

Ayanna Pressley, one of the dumbest people in Congress, demanded this woman be released immediately. No. She doesn't get to align with a group identified as a terrorist organization in America. Sorry. She is not a citizen here and she doesn't have the right to make Jewish students feel uncomfortable because she is a massive bigot.

As a reminder, here is a video from a Tufts' protest. These are hardly peaceful people.

It's almost like they were very disruptive on campus. Oh, that's because they were.

Rumeysa Ozturk, 30, who is currently studying at Tufts University in Massachusetts, was swarmed by a group of individuals near her off-campus home on Tuesday.

According to her lawyer, Ozturk had been on her way to meet with friends for iftar, a meal to break her Ramadan fast, when she was grabbed off the street.

Yes, this 'student' is 30 years old. Why are middle aged women here on student visas?

This is what Jewish students at Tufts faced while the Biden Administration let non-citizens harass Americans trying to attend classes.

“Out of fear that they might be arrested and deported for lawful expression and association, some noncitizen students and faculty have stopped attending public protests or resigned from campus groups that engage in political advocacy,” according to the lawsuit.

“Others have declined opportunities to publish commentary and scholarship, stopped contributing to classroom discussions, or deleted past work from online databases and websites,” attorneys wrote. “Many now hesitate to address political issues on social media, or even in private texts. The [policy], in other words, is accomplishing its purpose: it is terrorizing students and faculty for their exercise of First Amendment rights in the past, intimidating them from exercising those rights now, and silencing political viewpoints that the government disfavor.”

Professors and students across America have filed a lawsuit claiming that students fear attending protests or writing commentary due to the risk of deportation. I say, good riddance! If they want to raise their voices and protest, they should return to their home countries and work for peace there. A student visa is not a free pass to stir up trouble in America, undermine our laws, or disrupt our institutions of higher learning. If someone invites me into their home and I don’t like their rules, the right thing to do is leave, go back to my own home, and live by my own standards. A study visa is not an invitation to come and 'remake' America. We are doing just fine.
