After Kamala's stunning loss to President Trump in November of 2024, many believed Kamala would run for Governor of California as her next move. If so, she is missing a huge opportunity right now.
If Kamala were serious about running for CA Gov, wouldn’t she be more out front on the fires? And if she had a modicum of inventiveness, calling for heads to roll?

One would think Kamala would be out in California doing all she could to get justice for the people of California. At the very least, she should be helping charities serve victims and calling for transparency about what went wrong.
We all know Harris' political instincts suck.

If she does plan to run for Governor, she should be getting lots of face time with California media.
Sounds like work.

Probably a challenge to turn on her own. It's not like she built her career on widespread popular support. She's captive to the machine as much as anyone.

She clearly only cares about positions where she can do very little work or campaigning and the win will just be handed to her.

Maybe she shouldn't get behind a microphone after all.

anyone scheduled a “firefighters for kamala” zoom yet? https://t.co/x7Pj7aruXx

That would go over like a lead balloon.
As @JohnEkdahl has said many times, she has not done this because she is lazy https://t.co/71v8LVbVZO

Her people are already trying to workshop "How would you have handled these fires differently from Gavin Newsom?" without her completely malfunctioning. https://t.co/PcKgxfFxlO

If she can't easily come up with 'I would have made sure the fire extinguishers were not malfunctioning' off the top of her head, she might as well hang it up.
Well first they have to build finish building her a podcast set. https://t.co/2AZToHZsSe

With their luck, it would catch on fire.
Voting for the Felon was probably a good choice, America. https://t.co/9ntqDYlMl8

Oh, that was most definitely the right choice. Finally voting out some Democrats in California would be an even better choice. If the people of California want to turn their state around, they better consider it and quickly.
Doing that with 10 days left in the administration would look nakedly political. Not the time or place. https://t.co/YmaG5hqDAp

Kamala hasn't done anything the other four years she was Vice President so we're not sure what she is waiting on. If she doesn't do it in the next ten days, it's times up for her. She's lost her public pulpit.
In fact, she does not have, as you call it, a “modicum of inventiveness.”

It's becoming more and more clear why she failed the Bar Exam.
