Tonight, Stephen King offered a rave review of J.K. Rowling's book, 'The Running Grave'. To normal people, this is a lovely gesture by one author to another.
THE RUNNING GRAVE, by Robert Galbraith: This is J.K. Rowling at her best, recalling the sheer readability of the Harry Potter books, but much darker. This got me through a difficult time.

Leftists, however, are not normal people. They demand strict adherence to the group think and Stephen is not being a good little robot. You see, Rowling dared to say things like women deserve their own intimate spaces like restrooms and also should have the ability to compete in sports. Can you imagine someone having such outrageous beliefs? She must be shunned and mocked in the town square.
Good luck with this tweet, Stephen

He's going to need it.
That’s exciting. I’ve been thinking about her lately. Wondering what’s her next thing. She’s a special lady. @jk_rowling

~Robert books are my favorito JK books! Will totally check this out.

Oh thank you! I love your book recommendations. Probably no TDS either.

Surprisingly, there was a few kind responses to the tweet. Will wonders never cease?
Now Mr. King I don’t presume to tell you which authors to read, but out of all of them, I didn’t think I’d see you citing this one in particular pic.twitter.com/QLR9etKP3s

Then, it started. Buckle your seatbelts.
I know we would like to separate the art from the troubling artist, but J.K. Rowling’s embrace of a terf identity makes it very, very hard.

No thanks. A TERF who openly endorses the Christian far right and blocks people for pointing out the sources of her transphobic bile is a definite no from me. It could be the best book ever written and I still ain't buying it.
— Paul Flewitt (@RealPaulFlewitt) October 26, 2023
Um. She's a terf though. I'm not sending her any money. I'm kind of surprised that you are.
— I'm Not A Cat (@AngelaJHolt) October 26, 2023
Shame, Shame, Stephen. How dare you show appreciation for the work of one of the baddies.
Appreciate the thought, but I won't buy any more of Rowling's work since she outed herself as prejudiced against trans people.
— Fanged_Misanthropic (@FangedTwo) October 26, 2023
Is she prejudiced against 'trans people' or is she a supporter of biological women, like an actual feminist?
Stephen, with nothing but love and admiration for your work, Rowling does not share your core values any more. You don’t need to give her this boost.
— Tyler Heberle (@TylerHeberle) October 26, 2023
Of course, you must share the values with an author to enjoy their work these days. I guess to read Hemingway you must live like a hermit in Florida and be frequently drunk or something.
Everything sucks right now. I can't find out that you are a terf. I've loved you since 1977.

The emotional fragility is off the charts. Can't we please go back to enjoying the art and separating that from the artist? Those were the days.
