Yesterday, we told you about Karine Jean Pierre's non answer when asked about rising anti-semitism in the US. Instead of answering that question, KJP went on a rant about .... rising Islamophobia. Mam, that is not what was asked and in the wake of an attack on Israel, was totally inappropriate. KJP got roasted on Twtiter afterwards so she took to her account to put out this statement:
To be clear: the President and our team are very concerned about a rise in antisemitism, especially after the horrific Hamas terrorist attack in Israel. https://t.co/oMeFDmZK66

Actually, that was about as clear as mud.
To be clear: it did not seem that you or the president are very concerned at all about the rise in Jew hatred. Say it from the podium, don't take to your twitter account. https://t.co/C7uUB2sRe5

Conservative author Karol Markowicz wondered why KJP couldn't support the Jewish people from the actual podium while on television instead of just from her Twitter account. That doesn't seem like too big of an ask, actually.
If she had actually said it there would be no reason to issue a statement after the blowback. But she didn’t, because neither she nor the White House care. https://t.co/hdYFBtveml

She won't because @PressSec is a coward

It appears that way.
Cowardly. Late. Meaningless.

Did I leave anything out?

That about covers it.
She knows exactly what she is doing. Says what she wants us to hear from the podium and then “corrects the record” where no one sees it.

She said more than she should have. By saying there was a huge increase of Islam in America, she admitted why the border is open.

It will be interesting to see if @PressSec proactively addresses her equivocation at today's presser.
— Michele Blood (@BloodBrief) October 24, 2023
Will she duck it altogether by carefully choosing reporters to call on?
Will she double down on semi-subtle both sides-isms?
Don't hold your breath hoping she will actually wholeheartedly support the Jewish community.
Just as his comments leaving the podium he doesn’t take questions, but talks as he’s leaving.

The World need leadership!!! We have none-we have two wars under his leadership’s weakness.
That's the scary part. The world is on fire and we have a President who is clearly not intellectually capable of managing it all. What a mess!
She only responded because a very liberal voice, yashar, called her out. And if she meant it she would’ve said it when she was asked.

She is not used to getting criticism from more left leaning voices. It definitely got to her. Perhaps this will encourage her to actually support Israel from the actual lectern on actual television.
