Twitchy founder/CEO Michelle Malkin traveled to Indiana yesterday to speak out against Common Core State Standards. Malkin has been an outspoken opponent of Common Core, arguing that it is a “top-down racket” that both lowers educational standards and violates students’ privacy.

Malkin gave two speeches in Indiana: one last night and one today. Both were sponsored by the Indiana chapter of Americans for Prosperity.

Indeed. Indiana has a statewide voucher program and, thankfully, has halted implementation of Common Core which had begun under former Gov. Mitch Daniels.

It comes as no surprise that the winners of the prestigious MATHCOUNTS junior high competition in 2010 and 2012 were both from Indiana.
