Earlier this year, Korie Robertson told Parenting Teens magazine:
We go on a mission trip every summer to the Dominican Republic where we take care of a children’s home that our church supports there. We do a lot with the community down there. You see kids who literally beg for a drink of water. And it puts things in perspective.
Robertson and other members of her family took to Twitter and Instagram to share photos of the time they spent with children in the Dominican Republic this week.

Day one in Dominican. Heart is heavy and full at the same time. Love our children here. Trying to figure out how to show them God’s love and make a difference in their difficult lives.
