“Do as we say, not as we do.” It’s the Harry Reid way.

Senate staffer Amanda Carpenter has extensively chronicled her frustrating, infuriating, confusing attempts to enroll in a new insurance plan via the Obamacare marketplace. She doesn’t have much choice: It’s. The. Law.
Now comes insult to injury via the always slimy Harry Reid.

In September, Reid said, “We are going to be part of exchanges, that’s what the law says and we’ll be part of that.” But CNN reports that the law “lets lawmakers decide if their committee and leadership staffers hold on to their federal employee insurance plans.”
Surprise! Reid is going with that option. Obamacare is for the icky unwashed masses, not Reid’s precious leadership staff.

So, the same Reid aides who greased the wheels for Obamacare’s passage just aren’t that into buying plans through the marketplace?

Paging the White House press:
If I was a guest WH correspondent today I'd ask why are some of @SenatorReid's staff exempt from Obamacare?@markknoller @edhenryTV

Will White House reporters ask about any of this?

Exit question from Carpenter’s boss, Ted Cruz:
Sen. Dem Ldr exempted top staff who worked to pass Obamacare. Was it the higher costs or reduced choices? http://t.co/CGNld77HGS #FullRepeal
