Side-splitting! That tweet wasn’t meant to be snarky, making it even funnier.
HealthCare.gov tried to kick off the Obamacare marketplace this morning … and failed miserably. The website is an error-ridden mess and users are being asked for their patience as the marketplace works out “known issues” with security. But never mind the pesky bugs preventing people from signing up — HealthCare.gov is psyched!
Today is the first day of open enrollment! Go to http://t.co/1MVLQtMu72 now to apply & #GetCovered!

@HealthCareGov uh.. I think the House guys were right. This thing just isn't ready for primetime yet. Been trying since 3am to get in.

@HealthCareGov Looks like a Govt Op to me. 10x the cost and you can't even sign up. Surely someone would have thought to stress test site?

After stewing in their own shame for a bit, the people behind the insurance marketplace Twitter account realized an apology was in order. But not for the security bugs. They’re just sorry you’re not more patient with the “longer than expected” wait times.
Thanks for all your comments and updates as you enroll. We apologize that wait times on the site and hotline are longer than expected! (1/2)

The frightening truth:
@HealthCareGov You can't even get your website to work but you're gonna run health care.
