You've got tool-mail: Obama camp sends 'legitimate rape' fundraising email from Sandra Fluke

Squee! An email from the tooliest of the Obama tools!

Silly. She’s your pal! Of course she’s got your email address.

Sandra Fluke fundraising off of Rep. Todd Akin’s “legitimate rape” remark could really be a game-changer for Obama!

Or not.

Akin is no longer welcome at the Republican National Convention next week, but if Fluke’s email on behalf of the Obama campaign is any indication, he’s likely to play a star role at the Democratic National Convention in September.

Her email offered a preview of how the tired War on Women meme is likely to take center stage.

In a recent statement that was both factually inaccurate and horribly offensive, Republican Missouri Senate candidate Rep. Todd Akin said that victims of “legitimate rape” don’t get pregnant because “the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.”

This controversy is not an accident, or a mistake, or an isolated incident. It’s a reflection of a Republican Party whose policies are dangerous for women.

More Democrat math: Todd Akin = Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan and all Republicans.

Obama trusts us to make our own decisions? As Mitt Romney might say, “Bless your heart, Sandra.” Aren’t you just precious?

Read the full email from your “friend” Sandra at PJ Tatler and decide who’s really waging the War on Women.
