At a fundraiser last night, funnyman President Obama thanked the Boston crowd for Kevin Youkilis, the infielder who the Boston Red Sox traded to the Chicago White Sox on Sunday. He was reportedly met with a chorus of boos, and the video appears to back that up.
The president certainly seemed to think he was being booed for tweaking Red Sox fans about the trade a little too soon.

But not everyone agrees that the Obama-friendly crowd was booing the president.
We weren’t booing. We were shouting “Youk!” “@WCVB: Obama talks baseball, politics in Boston http://t.co/zPC2uJbn”

The real news, of course, is that “White Sox fan” Obama finally learned the name of a team member.
What do you think? “Boooo” or “Yoooouk”?
Update:
White House press secretary Jay Carney is all about boo-gate today.
