Brett Kimberlin’s group Velvet Revolution has offered a $10,000 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the attempted SWAT-tings of Mike Stack, Patrick Frey (Patterico), RedState’s Erick Erickson, and … Brett Kimberlin? Well that’s a new one.
As Patterico points out, Kimberlin was interviewed by ABC News after his alleged SWAT-ting and didn’t bring it up.
Some had their doubts about Kimberlin’s new claim.

This morning, Lee Stranahan got a statement from the Montgomery county, Maryland public information office. It begins:
I searched our 911 call database for the above listed address. There was no call listed for 5/31, nor anything similar to what you described. I then searched each of our 6 districts for the entire day of 5/31 for a murder in progress, murder just occurred or murder occurred earlier call with negative results.

Oh #BrettKimberlin… you did it again!

Earlier today, Kimberlin’s attorney seemed to imply that his client had been SWAT-ted.

But with no public record to back him up, Kimberlin’s SWAT-ting claim looks dubious at best.

With 85 House Republicans urging Attorney General Eric Holder to investigate SWAT-tings, serial harasser Brett Kimberlin may find he doesn’t enjoy the disinfecting powers of sunlight.
