Jon Lovitz: CNN wants me to guest host 'Piers Morgan Tonight'

Oh my. Make it happen!

With Piers Morgan’s show drawing an excruciatingly embarrassing 39,000 viewers in the 25-54 demo, this would be a brilliant move by CNN.

The demo ratings for Morgan’s time slot are the lowest they’ve been since at least 1997, so a moldy towel would pull better numbers. But with Lovitz guest hosting, the ratings have a chance at being respectable. Lefties will tune in to continue their Lovitz hate fest and conservatives will want to catch another YouTube-worthy moment or two.

Shh. No one tell Piers. We want this thing to actually go through.
