BEGGING for viewers to leave: Brian Stelter digs an even deeper hole after parroting Colbert's painfully unfunny joke

It has been a rough few days for CNN and Brian Stelter.

Desperate times sometimes lead to the desperate repeating of painfully unfunny attempts at humor, like this one from ‘Late Show’ host Stephen Colbert.

Aside from the fact that it’s not funny, the premise is absurd.

After being investigated for more than two years about something that turned out to be bogus, why shouldn’t President Trump have the right to use it to his advantage?

Instead of doing everything they can to try to regain credibility with the viewers they betrayed, it seems as if Stelter and CNN are laser-focused on digging an even deeper hole.
