LOOK: Dale Earnhardt Jr. pays tribute to his father on the anniversary of his passing at Daytona

Former NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. was the grand marshall for the 60th running of the Daytona 500 on Sunday.

His father, Dale Earnhardt Sr., was killed while competing the Daytona 500 exactly 17 years ago today. His shirt is a depiction of the late Earnhardt while driving.

Earnhardt Jr. retired from competitive racing last year. He won the Daytona 500 twice during his career. His father only won the race once.
