There is an ongoing battle over whether a 17-year-old immigrant in federal custody can obtain an abortion. It has created a movement called #JusticeForJane, promoted by the likes of Planned Parenthood CEO Cecil Richards. Former Obama administration adviser Valerie Jarrett weighed in on Tuesday, decrying any attempt by the federal government to “obstruct” the law.

And then there was that time that Obama talked about how the Constitution constrained him. You get the point. Jarrett and the Obama administration wrote the book on how to circumvent the law of the land.
