Keep it up! The reason Pelosi says she's 'GOT' to stay in leadership is a big reason why Trump won

Nancy Pelosi argued Sunday morning on ABC’s “This Week” that she has just GOT to remain a member of the Democratic leadership. The reason? Well, of course, to defend Obamacare!

“I saw the threat to it, I said: I’ve got to stay, to take care of the Affordable Care Act, and that’s my fight, that’s my mission,” Pelosi said on ABC’s “This Week.”

Her appearance on ABC was accompanied by a tweet blasting Trump for his “tax plan” and his attacks on Obamacare.

As Jason Chaffetz points out, this will only end up working against the Democratic Party as a whole. The American people don’t seem to have an appetite to put Pelosi and the others back in power to preside over Obamacare implementation 2.0.

Democrats have a decision to make. They can either try something new or stick with the same leadership and playbook that put Trump in the White House and gave Republicans control of both houses of Congress.
