'Targeted' San Antonio police officer dies after being shot

A San Antonio Police officers has died after being shot Sunday morning during a routine traffic stop.

The officer was reportedly shot twice, once in the head.

Chief McManus says the officer was targeted and shot twice. He passed away about 30 minutes ago.

To clarify, officer was sitting in his patrol vehicle writing the ticket when shooter came up to passenger side window and fired twice.
