Sen. Claire McCaskill falls for fake congressman account, finds a way to blame Republicans

It started this morning when Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) tweeted this.

To which, Steve Smith, a fake account posing as a U.S. Congressman, replied.

@clairecmc They're gay? Bet you wouldn't post this if they weren't.

She responded.

@RepStevenSmith You made me laugh out loud in the checkout line. How dumb. No they are not, but who flippin cares if they are.

Then later, she realized that the account was fake and acknowledged as much.

But in true leftist fashion, she couldn’t admit the error of her ways without taking a dig at conservatives.
