As Twitchy reported, yesterday the DNC published a Memorial Day tweet that contained a photo of President Obama eating ice cream. Politico correspondent Glenn Thrush condemns the outrage over it.
What a jive-ass bullshit riff. https://t.co/aDYXxOyymf
— Glenn Thrush (@GlennThrush) May 24, 2015
That is quite a contrast to the reaction by CNN’s Jake Tapper.
Respectfully, @TheDemocrats, this is not what Memorial Day Weekend is about. https://t.co/331F9IX2Xz

Hey, @GlennThrush, meet @jaketapper. Maybe it's not all bullshit riffs. https://t.co/n3e3HGMfuD

Thrush continued … to miss the point.
Whatever. Ask Jake if he thinks Obama isn't a patriotic American who cares about the troops. https://t.co/EOYHhFJu4b

Veteran Kurt Schlichter responded.
More liberal gaslighting from a MSM guy who eagerly "licks the cone." #caring @instapundit https://t.co/Suabv6msa0
— Kurt Schlichter (@KurtSchlichter) May 24, 2015
Hey @GlennThrush, some of us tend to associate Memorial Day with the guys we lost and not a narcissist with a cone. https://t.co/Suabv6msa0
— Kurt Schlichter (@KurtSchlichter) May 24, 2015
Are u capable of disagreeing w/ someone without questioning their patriotism? https://t.co/hDSKxZnutX
— Glenn Thrush (@GlennThrush) May 24, 2015
.@GlennThrush, I don't question liberals' patriotism. I presume they have none in any meaningful sense. But nice try to change the subj.

Oh, snap!
Ask Jake what he think the image signifies. https://t.co/nMzol4OYgb
— Glenn Thrush (@GlennThrush) May 24, 2015
Pretty sure he’s already made that clear.
Jake has already offered his opinion. You know, a journalist might want to research before he talks. #ProTip @GlennThrush

@GlennThrush I cannot imagine missing the point of @jaketapper's tweet or other commenters more than you just did, but as you say: whatever.
— Tom Nichols (@RadioFreeTom) May 24, 2015
Exactly.
