Billionaire Elon Musk suffered a major setback this afternoon after Delaware Court of Chancery Chancellor Kathaleen S. McCormick ruled that the trial over his purchase of Twitter will take place in October, much sooner than Musk had wanted:

Twitter’s lawyers accused Musk of trying to “sabotage” the deal and that he “invented” the “bot issue” to “manufacture an exit ramp that doesn’t exist”:
